The Towns of Braintree*, Cohasset, East Bridgewater*, Hingham, Hull, Marshfield*, Plymouth** and Weymouth, have selected Black Earth Compost as a Preferred Vendor for curbside food waste pickup through a competitive bid conducted by the South Shore Recycling Cooperative. Residents of our other towns may subscribe to this service at contract pricing as well.

BEC also picks up all sorts of other stuff for recycling from subscribers.
Pricing for curbside pickup of food and other acceptable waste:
Weekly service: $115 / 6 months
Biweekly service: $90 / 6 months
Setup fee for animal-resistant locking curbside collection container and
one roll of 15 compostable liners: $36
Density Discount: A 15% price reduction will occur once a few hundred households in your town subscribe to the service. Many already do.
