Recycling in Whitman

Whitman has a weekly automated curbside recycling and trash program. Recycling is mandatory.

Do not bag recyclables. Whitman collects clean paper, flattened cardboard, and clean bottles, jars and rigid containers. Make sure you are recycling the right way. Recycling carts containing nonrecyclable items, such as plastic bags, liquids, or tanglers, may not be collected.

Items listed at the bottom of the page are accepted at the
Department of Public Works, 100 Essex St.
