The Scituate DPW operates a convenient, well-staffed transfer station.  All trash must be contained in Town-approved “Pay as You Throw” bags.

Recycling is mandatory.  Trash and non-recyclable items, including plastic bags, foam plastic, wet and food contaminated items, may not be deposited in the recycling area.  Improper disposal or recycling may result in loss of access to the facility.
