Governing Body adopts the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssrcoop.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Actsof1998Ch194s419.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Special Legislation<\/a>\u00a0that enables\u00a0the SSRC to exist as a government organization, and to raise and disburse funds<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">2. Select Board or Mayor signs the SSRC\u2019s current five year <a href=\"https:\/\/ssrcoop.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/SSRC-IMA-Extension-5-final-04272023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Intermunicipal Agreement<\/a>, which runs through FY28.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">3. SSRC BOD votes to accept the new town or city as a Member Municipality.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">4.\u00a0 Municipality pays annual dues, currently (FY26) $4,950\/year, plus a $500 HHW administration fee for each event hosted in that fiscal year.\u00a0\u00a0Dues are prorated quarterly for municipalities that join mid-fiscal year. Much of this can e paid with RDP funds.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">5. Municipality\u2019s appointing body appoints two representatives to the Board.\u00a0 Each town gets one vote. Bylaws are <a href=\"https:\/\/ssrcoop.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/bylaws-rev7-24-17.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Membership qualifies Member Municipalities that host fewer than two HHW events per year for 2 RDP points.
