We want to hear from you. What do you think are the most important actions for fostering a greater culture around reduce & reuse here in Massachusetts?
We want to know what hurdles you see keeping Bay Staters (as well as the companies and businesses that operate here in Massachusetts) from adopting and expanding practices to reduce our waste footprint. How can we make reuse more convenient, accessible, and mainstream? From reducing unnecessary packaging, repairing items when they break, finding new homes for unwanted goods, and opting to share, borrow or rent items rather than own products – we want to make Massachusetts a leader when it comes to reuse.
During this discussion, MassDEP will share out what we’ve heard from Reduce & Reuse advocates so far and invite participants to share additional barriers and strategies the R&R workgroup should consider as part of our ongoing Reduce & Reuse (R&R) Strategic Planning process.
