Mobile & Cell Phones

cell phonesMany retailers (including Home Depot, Lowes, Radio Shack, Staples, and Target), schools, police departments, and municipal transfer stations collect unwanted cell phones for profit or for people in need.

Verizon Wireless HopeLine refurbishes and distributes cell phones dropped off at store locations to domestic violence programs including Jane Doe, Inc.  Phones that can’t be refurbished are sold for parts, and the money is donated to domestic violence programs like JDI.

Cell Phones for Soldiers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services to active duty military members and veterans

A Message from our Executive Director:

Twelve of our Member Towns will be enlisting the services of our Recycling Education and Compliance Officer, Julie Sullivan, over the next 2 years! Her goal is to get the trash out of the recycling, and the recycling out of the trash in our residential programs. Check out her 30 second PSA that PAC TV produced for us!  Her position is funded by a grant from MassDEP.
